The Deafening Silence
Hi ladies and gents and single ladies..
Sorry about the long and deafening silence.. There are just some couple of things that unexpectedly gone out of control, but still, I could not divulge this time.. No worries though because I’ll have all the details posted directly from my Journal when the right time comes.. Plus the names of the people that I would like to thank.. Just be patient for now, keep me in your prayers and a better blogger will come back to give you entertainment, relevant information and doses of (mis)adventures, hopefully, soon..
For now, I still have to face another real life’s battle, which I myself called, a “humbling battle”.. And hopefully, when this dark cloud that’s overcasting me will be over, I’ll be very eager to write in a better note again..

My name is Leonel Paet Aguinaldo, an Average Joe Filipino who is always mistaken to be a Mexican.. I belong to the “Aguinaldo Mystique” clan of Northern Philippines..
I am just another street guy in his usual blue jeans, tees and cap wandering around like an astray doggie..
Some of you might be asking or thinking why do I look familiar.. Well, we might have crossed paths or brushed elbows in social gatherings & civic actions or YES, you might have voted me in 2002 as a Barangay Councilor, and had the biggest regret of your life after the election.. Or another YES, you might be one of the crowd watching in one of my hosting/speaking engagements and decided not to finish the show because it was a crap and that you planned to ask for a ticket refund.. 
Or still, another YES, you might be one of the local paparazzis that took photos when I ramped the stage wearing only trunks during my stint in the Mr. Pasuquin 2001 OR NO, maybe you’ve just mistaken me to be your childhood schoolmate or playmate in the old ‘hood.. Or NO, you just thought I look very much like the buffed guy that dated your girlfriend in High School.. 
..
People say I am a funny man, although sometimes, I admit to be more annoying than hillarious.. Maybe because people still find my sarcasm a funny thing… But mind you, I could make anyone else laugh and fart out loud or can make their mucus bubble.. But I have not choked someone to death, so, there is no cause for alarm..
I am a freelance MC (not a DJ).. I’ve done several events for DSWD, CHED, IFI, personal and private events and corporate invitations; and trust me when I say, for as long as you know how to open your mouth, crack some jokes and use the microphone, talking is as lucrative as being a CEO in a big company..
I am also a Science Researcher, an Editor and Literary & News Writer.. But I stopped these sidelines when a school back home summoned me to explain why their graduating stu(pi)dents resorted to pay my service to do their individual feasibility studies.. 
The hillarious part was when the School Board asked the students why they paid for my service, they did not realize they’ve acquitted me.. Their response? “Because our teacher did not teach us how to make a feasibility study”.. Great job for the teacher who receives his salary in full and doesn’t teach in class.. Don’t curse me but a school is just as good as its faculty..
My passion for writing blogs started when I failed to launch my passion for Video Blogging.. Although, I insist to have a YouTube account with my crappy videos captured by a “Low-Definition” (if there is such a term) Camera Phone, well guess what, I’ve just done new videos to launch another video blogging failure.. I don’t know.. Maybe, I just love to humiliate myself rather than seeing someone do it for me.. Well, I can’t have all the best in the world I must say
I have a very complicated profession.. I have a University Degree in Communications, but for some weird reasons, my previous jobs are way too far from my course.. I worked as a Local Legislator for good three years , as a Science Research Assistant on IT for the worse seven months of my life 
, as a Quality Assurance Officer for another good three years , and as a Records Management Officer on Oil and Gas for another not-so-good four months.. Now, My fulltime profession is blogging.. .. Well, it’s not as lucrative as talking to a bunch of laughing and perhaps annoyed audience in an event, but just as good as treating people to the Old Spaghetti House for some veggie fettoccini, knowing that what they read is worth their monthly Internet Service Fee, although sometimes I can send my readers nuts because of the thought that they are the ones I am talking about in my blog..
See? I am very careful about my write-ups (that is why I do not name names except in the shoutouts, which are always written as the last part (below) of every post but I still make people panic and over react like, “Oh my God, this brown a** is talking about me!”.. .. It’s hillarious isn’t it? But honestly, sometimes it puts me in big s***!
Now, you might be wondering what am I doing in North America.. I’ll tell you what, I ask the same question too on a daily basis and up to now, I haven’t got a clue.. But yes, I am still here living the Canadian Life with just few bucks in my pocket, braving the crazy weather and trying to look for a lazy boss who would risk his investment by hiring me and is willing to shout, “Hey Mister, I think that’s my report sitting on your table.. For God sake, there’s more to life than Facebook” as part of his job description on a routinary basis..
